Founded in 1579 HE by Arazindam merchants, the settlement of Duluk-Zirag commenced as a transfer point, facilitating the movement of goods between land, river, and sea. Situated along the southern shores of the Cthorgo Sea and the Great Tradeway, by the conclusion of the Horgon Era, the settlement had evolved into a prosperous and influential city-state.
On 9 Bloom 77, Duluk-Zirag unified with three additional city-states under the auspices of the Irdtrax Republic.
In 1145, Belephant-Elebros, a long-standing commercial rival of Duluk-Zirag, allied with a pact of drow city-states known as the Chari'they Alliance. Six years later, in 1151, Duluk-Zirag succumbed to this drow pact during the Tradeway Wars (1131 - 1231). Fleeing southward, most of the city's refugees found sanctuary in Hagurthand and other Irdraxian strongholds.
Occupied until the war's conclusion, Duluk-Zirag has never been reconstructed. Efforts to reclaim the region have encountered resistance from the Orchish Empire and other entities eager to constrain Irdtrax's dominance over sea and river commerce.
