Fimble'yaul is a vast vale flanked by towering glacier walls that rise half a mile high. It is an unnatural region, much like the rest of Igas, a verdant vale dotted with immense alien trees. The trees that have taken root here were seeded from across the Indraph Rift and are truly unique to Bal-Kriav. Yet, on certain icy worlds like Fimblewinter, they divide the landscape in great bands. The origin of these trees dates back to the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), when Silvanus, then a Creationist, imbued them with deep roots and a hardness that can slice through a passing glacier like the bow of a ship. They were intended to create habitable zones for Covenant armies advancing into inhospitable lands. The Nature Protectorates now consider these trees and other alien vegetation in this valley to be invasive.

They possess the ability to diminish the ice around them, generating verdant vales flanked by glacial cliffs. While this may appear a picturesque sight, upon closer inspection, one realizes that Fimble'yaul and Sor'sirdir are vast holding pens, where the subjugated natives now reside, sustaining the icy hordes of Artaxertus, fueling the unending Thrones War (751 - present).
