In one variation of the Elderaunt origin myth, Elephant Reverence states that on 4 Temporal 580, the mortal Jurmalon rose from the ashes of the epic creature Ilušur and the legendary animal Thunderous Walker. Hailing from the Irastâ tribe, Jurmalon became a charismatic leader, quickly rising to power. He unified the Elderaunt of Izagunbar, establishing the Tâchpachâr Empire on 11 Brightstar 921.

In the year 984, Jurmalon succumbed to the infirmities of old age. Viewed as the quintessential representative of the Elderaunt people, a spiritually unaffiliated populace, The Balance extracted his soul from Limbo and channeled it through the Temple of Ascension. However, his tenure as a Higher Power would be fleeting. On the very day of his Ascension, malevolent forces conspired to assault the Temple of Ascension. Captured by the deity Set, Jurmalon was confined within the Black Chariot.

Inside the Black Chariot, Jurmalon endured months of torment, periodically subjected to near-drowning followed by resuscitation. After six agonizing months, unable to withstand the relentless punishment any longer, Jurmalon implored Hades for release. According to the legends, Hades responded with the following declaration:

Once you have relinquished life, you also forfeit divine status and relinquish the power of your realms to Set. He will grow mightier with your demise, and he has the entitlement to claim a portion of you as his own.

Hades, to Jurmalon - "Divine Release"

At the hands of Set, Jurmalon met his demise on 13 Temporal 985. With Jurmalon's passing, Set claimed his divine power, fortifying his dominion over the domain of Darkness.
