On the Pillar of Horns, the deck beneath the main deck is designated as First Deck. Located at the stern of the Pillar is a cluster of rooms serving as the captain's quarters. The largest of these chambers is the captain's office, which on most vessels would also function as the captain's private living space. Given the Pillar's immense size, many of the ship's crew members enjoy their own private cabins, some capable of accommodating up to ten individuals. The higher-ranking crew members occupy their own dedicated quarters. This configuration of individual cabins rather than open barracks is a practical measure, stemming from the danger of enemies infiltrating the vessel and targeting the sleeping crew with devastating magical attacks.
1. Captain's Office
Gazing outward from the stern, beneath the towering Kuralda Bulwark, the captain's quarters exude a spartan aesthetic, adorned with nine grand panes of glass facing the stern. Amidst this otherwise austere environment, a captivating item commands attention - Rax's desk, a cherished gift from his wife of three centuries. This exquisite desk hails from the era of the Abâthigûr empire, a bygone Durkoth civilization that once dominated the Necrocrypt long before the rise of the Black Tide. This connection is rooted in the story of Thasmudyan, who, during the reign of the First Khazarkar Empire in Gulimbor, delved into the forgotten lore of Molakh-Búle and discovered a path to lichdom, fueling his thirst for power. A group of heroes, including Katrana Hlothuru, later embraced Thasmudyan's divinity, elevating his status and spreading his gospel across the realm as leaders of the Black Tide. Rax's Abâthigûrian rosewood desk, over 3,000 years old and of great historical and monetary value, holds a deeper significance for both Rax and Katrana - it once belonged to their formidable adversary, Ta'khar.

3. Rejuvenation Chamber
The Frosvirk Sarcophagus, a device designed to expunge negative energy, is housed within the estate.
Two minotaur guards stand sentry outside his door. They step aside, and the one on the right deftly unlocks the entryway. She listens with rapt attention, her acute senses detecting the faint crackle of a ward being disarmed. The guard on the left then opens the door, permitting passage to one of the select few individuals granted access to Rax's private quarters.

4. Daojin's bedroom
Daojin, residing in a chamber adjacent to his captain's, hears the summons. He rises from a mound of earth and stone fragments, a state of repose for his kind. Just as assuming an upright posture demands exertion for beings of flesh and blood, so too does maintaining a physical form for an elemental. He transforms into a pseudopod with numerous eyes, surveying the chamber and its walls, which are studded with thousands of gemstones. On sandstone shelves, meticulously arranged, are specimens from his rock collection. These have been amassed over two centuries of service to Rax, during travels across this world and others.

5. Captain's Passage
This hallway leads to the captain's personnel chambers, along with a few other rooms reserved for Rax's most trusted advisors. The hallway is decorated with richly carved panels that Rax finds more fitting in a palace or nobles' home than on a ship of war.- barracks
