Lyktion is an ancient city situated on a disjointed realm, part of a labyrinth of debris discarded by Piranoth during his tenure as a Creationist. In the lead-up to the Abyssal Release (7777 DE - 8777 DE), Lyktion became the domain of a rebel primordial named Baphomet. He and a growing cabal of discontents fortified a camp that rapidly evolved into a maze of structures, intermingled with innumerable levitating Elemental Motes permeating the region and, indeed, the entire world.

Named Lyktion after a resilient lichen that blanketed the land, Lyktion was one of the numerous rebel encampments that had seceded from the primordials and their conflict against Negative Entropy, backed by the Nawirrûs Covenant during the Dawn Era.

Lost for two decades in the Lyktion Maze, I gained deep insights into the origins of the demon race. The hordes of Lyktion, akin to countless similar encampments scattered across the Piranoth's Steps worlds, were all infected by the Threads of Damnation. These were the progenitors of the demons, a people compelled by Chaos and unadulterated malevolence, intent on annihilation and subjugation of others.
