Kelksorli rose to prominence through his captivating personality, swift intellect, and exceptional martial abilities. At the tender age of 12, he vanquished his first dragon. Though his critics claim it was merely a fang dragon, a juvenile specimen, those truly versed in the ways of dragons recognize the formidable skills of fang dragons in ground-based combat.
In the Lava Flood War ( 110 HE - 125 HE ) , nearly the entire population of Borngring's fire giants engaged in battle with the Volgads. During this conflict, Kelksorli emerged as a renowned and respected commander. Excelling at hurling flaming boulders, in close-quarters combat he favored wielding two massive short swords named Grace and Destruction.
In the year 125 HE, Kelksorli's forces sacked the city of Imrik. After the Volgads were expelled from Imrik and driven northward beyond the charred peaks of the Steirgar Mountains, Kelksorli's army fragmented. Over the subsequent two decades, Kelksorli and his loyal followers, predominantly from his homeland of Guldat, strove to unite the fire giant tribes.
In the year 145 HE, he commanded a force of five hundred fire giants and ten times as many non-giants. On the 26th of Brightstar that same year, he founded his own sovereign kingdom, assuming the title of master over the Hofthorm Monarchy.
