Irrai is an immense square tower that rises 800 feet. It has a 5,000-foot base that tapers to a 500-foot square, flat battlemented roof. This colossal tower is situated on the southwestern edge of Regadnîn. In the skies above the tower, extending a mile in all directions, are the Skytowers of Irrai . Some of these floating islands of earth and rock contain smaller versions of the Irrai tower.

During the Creation War, the fortifications of this area were constructed by a powerful deity and their angelic soldiers. One of the groups that assisted in raising this monumental structure was an elite squadron of angels known as the Golden Seven. At the time, they were stationed in Aphalur, serving as special forces for the Nawirrûs Covenant. They would aid Bal-Kriav in the epic battles that raged across Regadnîn.

With the power of Creation, he was a masterful strategist and perhaps one of the most noble and virtuous beings I have ever encountered. He extended mercy to those primordials who submitted. Rather than eradicating these wicked monsters, he banished them to the prison continent of Denerra.

Here we stand at the walls of Irrai, honoring the hero that fought hard against our enemies. He put aside his mantle of creation, to save the cornerstone of the war, this world. If it had fallen, so would have the system. May we hereby honor him, naming this world Bal-Kriav.

The stronghold of Irrai remains as formidable as it was during the Creation War. One notable absence from the tower is its grand eastern entrance. In the course of the conflicts that swept across Regadnîn, the site was assaulted by a primordial army. The doors were liquefied by the corrosive discharges of Nakh-Zennîm.

Today, Irrai and the earth motes that hover in the sky above are home to pacts of coutl, the hallowed naga known as the Makarrûs, ki-rin, pegasi, and other benevolent creatures. An elder titan also resides here periodically. The virtuous inhabitants of this realm firmly oppose any exploration of Irrai and the Skytowers of Irrai.
