In the Black Tide War (1465 - 1486), Bloodtusk's naval contingents formed a critical component of the Black Tide of Thasmudyan.
At the peak of its dominance, the Bloodtusk Regime possessed a formidable naval force that blockaded and impeded assistance from reaching the coastlines under siege by the Black Tide's land armies. A selection of the more prominent units are as follows:
Damned Marines
Ghul Armada
The backbone of this fleet was the Armada of the Damned and its flagship Godhead's Revenge. During the Black Tide War, this formidable fleet terrorized the coasts of the Lands of Purity, capturing enemy vessels, assaulting settlements, and harassing those supporting the Farinteen Dynasty. As the conflict moved inland, the fleet was employed in establishing an empire under the command of its undying admiral, the Bloodtusk Regime (1465 - 1800).
In the Athenian Crusade (1539 - 1551) and the Artery War (1546 - 1554), the Black Tide was expelled from the continent of Brucrumus. The navy, still intact, facilitated the transport of the remnants of an army that had once numbered over 300,000, now reduced to a mere 30,000. The Ghul Armada ferried the passengers, most of whom were willing, to the ill-fated isles of Necrocrypt.
The Ghul Armada was annihilated during the Burterinii-Bloodtusk War (1795 - 1800).
Skull Brigadiers
The Skull Brigadiers were an elite ground force comprising an army of Maleraunts. These seasoned troops served as the vanguard of Bloodtusk's formidable armies, known for their ruthless tactics and culpability in the commission of grievous atrocities against their adversaries.
GiminĂ¢th, a distinguished doctor and necromancer, bolstered the unit with elephant calves subjected to twisted experiments. These heinous trials were assisted by elements of the Ryldorvir; specialists in generating new twisted lifeforms. The elephant calves underwent a sinister transformation, transformed into stunted elephants with an ominous disposition and dark cunning. These abominations became known as Vilephants.
In the Brothers Enmity War (1697 - 1723), detachments of the Skull Brigadiers functioned as elite mercenary forces for the Ba'lith Empire.
