The Cult of Worms constructed this undead breeding stronghold in the Year 1250. This location served as the inaugural bastion dedicated to propagating Thasmudyan's sway. Birungrith is situated within the recesses of Othrangad. It was previously utilized as the command center for Black Banner.
Birungrith is constructed into the cliff faces of Othrangad. The settlement is fashioned from Hlothram obsidian and charred lava stone, as well as bonebrack harvested from Garâtha. The garrison is composed of formidable undead, malevolent mercenaries, and cultists.
Birungrith boasts an expansive library, its shelves laden with tomes on the arcane arts of necromancy and the occult. When the Black Tide was expelled from Hells Womb during the Artery War, this hallowed place remained unscathed by the ravages of conflict.
Withdraw the soldiers from Othrangad. It appears the First Dead Council has struck an accord with the Council of Nine. Birungrith, a sacrilegious structure consecrated to Thasmudyan, should be reduced to ashes like Zayr, but perhaps by preserving this site, we may forge a path to peace.
