Ginzarak is a rugged, mountainous region bordering Galathien. This highland area comprises one active volcano, two dormant ones, several smoke-choked canyons brimming with noxious gases, and numerous bubbling hot springs. The region serves as a haven for large groups of magmin, bands of fire trolls, and undead remnants from the Black Tide War (1465 - 1486). During this conflict, the lich Katrana threatened the entirety of the Sylvan Kingdoms. The area's dormant volcanic cones, Armorn to the southwest and Ireriel to the north, were formed when Katrana wielded the Elder Orb of Embers.
