Map Viiz Bo River

In the God Era, the river was christened by Bahamut for its passage through the Sands of Hell. North of the Aerie of Dragons, it bears alternate local monikers bestowed by peoples unaware of its historical designation. Along the Hoof Front, the then planetar Dispater constructed an impressive line of fortifications lining the river's southern extent. These defenses originate at the summit of Hiznaar Goz and terminate at Thadir. While largely reduced to ruins today, these bulwarks once served to repel the demonic legions of Orcus and prevent spring flooding from inundating portions of the eastern interior.

The Viiz Bo, also known as the Sand Flow, originates from the Inghild Mountains. Southeast of Ragongrak, the river expands to nearly a mile in width. Further southward, the Viiz Bo cascades over Diiv Prok in numerous waterfalls. In this region lies the Toomrur Hegemony stronghold of Gothmak, which operates sizeable cranes to facilitate the passage of river-borne vessels past the falls. Continuing southward, the Viiz Bo traverses the Sands of Hell before emptying into Veysed Vaal.
