Entropy Fragments are stones that were once part of a primordial bastion known as the Womb of Entropy. During the Lith-Crillion Era, a primordial entity named Asoun discovered the long-lost Womb of Entropy. Within this ancient invasion platform, he commenced the arduous task of re-opening the rifts between Chaos and the Mortal Systems. Impervious to magic, Asoun disregarded the arcane seals and wards of the Convenant, then, utilizing his renowned attachments, cracked the complex locks and puzzles that guarded the Womb.

After opening the third rift, research centers of the Lith-Crillion on Bal-Kriav detected anomalies. Their observatories recorded a surge in entropic activity, and local inhabitants reported sightings of primordial entities running amok. From Aggda, the Lith-Crillion dispatched a war party on a one-way mission to destroy the Womb of Entropy.

The seasoned Lith-Crillion war masters, battle mages, and Arcana's foremost clerics united with a dozen weave spiders. When the bastion was decimated, it exploded, dispersing chaos-infused shards across the cosmos. These ancient rock fragments, remnants from an era when primordials and deities roamed the realms, are known as the Entropy Fragments.

Entropy fragments have been employed in the creation of remarkably potent magical items and other apparatuses. The War of the Fragments ( 1500 - 1512 ) was a conflict fought over factions striving to secure six entropy fragments. One of the more formidable constructs fashioned from entropy fragments is an Entropy Arch.

Properties of entropy fragments fluctuate, akin to chaos. Certain fragments undergo transformation upon contact or utilization, becoming chaos infused. Documented cases exist of monsters ingesting an entropy fragment, granting their physical assaults the potency of a warp touch .
