In the Year 546, a dynastic line of rulers, under the family of Drugnod, established the Drugnod Dynasty. They launched a campaign to take control of more than forty gnoll and goblin tribes in the eastern Zyrath region. Over the course of Order 3C (547 - 556), gnoll chieftains across Zyrath were coerced or compelled to come to the negotiating table, leading to the establishment of territories and security measures. After a decade of intense internal conflict, this initiative brought stability to a region that had been plagued by seemingly perpetual warfare between the tribes of the Northern Hordelands since the Horgon Era.
Under the governance of a dynastic line of empresses, all Drugnods, the region underwent a period of remarkable civilization and enlightenment. The skilled artisans of Kennel constructed grand monuments honoring hounds, such as the impressive Hound Gates, while also developing their own unique architectural style. The military forces were bolstered by tactics learned from the earth archons of Hornfels. Although the government exhibited the nascent foundations of a republic, it remained constrained by the edicts of the Drugod empress and her extended family.
In 740, the empire endured its final civil war. Referred to as the Hlothangi Insurgency (740 - 746), it was initiated by those desiring a return to their nomadic ways and the savage hunts chronicled on the story pillars of Kennel. In 746, hastened by the termination of the Drugnod Pact and the elimination of all the Drugnod's daughters, the empire reached its conclusion. The responsibilities of governance then fell to the regional leaders, the senators of what became known as the Yagamph Republic.
