Takarrûs was a charismatic and forthright individual of admirable character. He quickly rose through the ranks of the Nawirrûs Covenant. During the Creation War, which spanned from 1486 DE to 8777 DE, he served as a field general, battling the primordials alongside his troops. Widely regarded as the first true holy hero, Takarrûs established the concept of angelic ranks, which started as a classification system and evolved into a structured path for gaining powers and prestige, serving as a reward for those dedicated to the cause.
In 2660 DE, Takarrûs spearheaded an army's assault against a primordial stronghold on Dol Vahdin. The Covenant had taken the fight to the primordial's rear areas, regions that had never before been targeted. It was a perilous mission, but if successful, would compel their foes to expend resources protecting these critical rear positions. Even Takarrûs considered it a suicide operation. In his diary, he noted that something had to be done to boost morale. To prepare for his potential demise, Takarrûs conducted the Ritual of Noble Sacrifice. This ensured that if he perished in battle, all his energy would be expended in a magnificent explosion.
Takarrûs's military objective was the great primordial depot of Saelmgar. Saelmgar, constructed by those serving Coeus, was a series of complexes spread across mountains, functioning as an armaments factory in the war to repel Creation. Tragically, Takarrûs perished on the seventh day of the Siege of Saelmgar. His demise triggered the Ritual of Noble Sacrifice, a powerful explosion of Holy Energy that tore away a section of Saelmgar. This detached landscape, now known as Mughakh-Gol, was pulled through a rift and transported to the distant world of Bal-Kriav. Takarrûs's end also gave rise to the Shards of Takarrûs, said to be his blood manifested, which rained down upon the plains of Âruk in Bal-Kriav, forever bathing the area in a crimson glow.
