This Pyramid of Power resides in the bogs of Sinarag. Similar to other Pyramids of Power, this one in the Troll Bogs was constructed by the Knudmid, a race of sand giants who built these monolithic structures as a dwelling place for those they revered, the Lith-Crillion. The Lith-Crillion utilized the Pyramid of Alchemy as a research center to study marine life, wetland creatures, alchemy, and poisons. The recipe for concocting Thasmudyan's Bile, originally known as Formula 3T-9, is said to have originated from Lith-Crillion books secured within this towering structure, which looms higher than the surrounding swamp trees. When constructed, the builders reinforced the Pyramid to prevent it from sinking into the muck. Yet after the Lith-Crillion vanished, the structure began to gradually sink, submerging three lower levels before reaching the solid ground beneath.
During the Lith-Crillion era, the laboratories within this partially submerged structure produced a diverse array of novel lifeforms that are largely endemic to the Troll Bogs. Predominantly, these were variations of native Sinarag species, though some were entirely unprecedented. The Lith-Crillion researchers also initiated a selective breeding program aimed at enhancing the intellect of trolls and potentially mitigating their violent inclinations. However, these efforts ultimately proved unsuccessful, as they projected it would necessitate several millennia to achieve the desired outcomes.
In the Horgon Era, a Saint of Maen named Rioch Tetrax seized control of this pyramid. This was readily achieved since only colossal snakes, scrags, and other creatures dared to traverse the three submerged levels until reaching the inner dry areas. Following his capture of the location, it would serve as Rioch Tetrax's grand palace until his ascent to divinity.
After Rioch Tetrax's departure and the chaos that followed the Durkoth Descent (995 HE - 1355 HE), the structure was left to be contested. During the First Epoch, Pyrmidian Ghouls seized control of the pyramid. The other half of these hybrid undead are composed of Dromite, scrag, troll, and Graagvrii stock.
