Ba'lith Navy

Horn Navy

The waterborne military force of Ba'lith is the Horn Navy. They favor the utilization of compact, agile, and nimble vessels. Their strategy revolves around "hit-and-run" maneuvers, selectively targeting stragglers, and gradually depleting their adversaries. Their larger ships are lightly armored and primarily intended for closing in on targets and boarding operations. Rather than sinking enemy ships, they strive to capture them.

Cloud Guard

In 1719, the conquest of Ilfongrak resulted in the seizure of eight skyships. These airborne vessels granted them the capacity to challenge the Azrik Blockade (1693 - 1729).

Ba'lith's largest shipyard is Gúrkúm-Ghak.

Horns of the Void

Up until the year 1824, when Ba'lith joined the Drachdekai Pact, the Horns of the Void was a diminutive void navy comprising fewer than six vessels. The empire yearned for a more substantial fleet, but could not acquire the essential engines. The Drachdekai Pact's formation remedied this predicament. They sought allies to aid in their ambition to consume the expansive world.

In 1829, Ba'lith unveiled the most formidable voidship ever constructed, the renowned Pillar of Horns.

The acquisition of voidships from the Drachdekai Pact transformed the strategic planning of Ba'lith. Their naval commander asserted that "air-power" serves as the foundation for military supremacy.

Thrawkrall Navy

Since the early days of the Ba'lith Empire, pirates of the Minotaur Inlet had enjoyed the support and protection of the empire. This had placed Ba'lith at odds with almost every merchant vessel sailing through this channel sea. As a warmongering state, Ba'lith profited significantly from this arrangement, sometimes earning up to 30% of the pirates' plundered goods. In 1693, Ivory Asylum joined the Pact of Behemoths, a free trade alliance seeking to end Ba'lith's overt support of piracy. This precipitated a three-decade-long blockade of both air and sea, the Azrik Blockade (1693 - 1729). The blockade ultimately resulted in Ba'lith abandoning its support of the pirates and removing the Thrawkrall Navy from its military assets.
