Early in the Dawn Era, Piranoth created the Aboleth race. They were his intelligent overseers, tasked with monitoring the dark, aquatic realms of several of his earliest established worlds. His earliest accounts depict them as neutral in their ways, noting that he erred in endowing them with excessive intellect. After some Aboleths turned rogue, he restricted their movements, preventing them from colonizing the other worlds within what was then known as Piranoth's Steps.
In the Abyssal Release ( 7777 DE - 8777 DE ) , the aboleth encountered harassment, enslavement, and even extermination on numerous worlds that were becoming part of the expanding Abyss. Like the primordials, the demons were distrustful and even fearful of the aboleth's great intellect. During this tumultuous period, one group of aboleth experimented with entropic energy, creating an aberration they named Blibdoolpoolp.
Aboleth were brought to Bal-Kriav during the Demon Spawn War ( 89 GE - 269 GE ) . Minions of Athroond, under the direct command of Blibdoolpoolp, the aboleth constructed formidable strongholds along the depths and coasts of the Green Nebulous and the Cthorgo Sea.
