For nearly two millennia during the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), Hon'palos faithfully served as a minion to Storralk. After proving his worth in numerous battles, Storralk used his power of Creation to elevate Hon'palos to a more formidable form. Hon'palos was transformed from a chichimec into a monstrous abomination - a worm. Embittered by this change, Hon'palos now found himself grounded, lacking the same tactical advantage over land-based foes. This led to a falling out between the two, with Hon'palos burrowing deep into the Step of Foudation. In the Underdark, he spawned numerous progeny - worms of all sizes, both small and large. One particular brood of primordial sand worms was delivered to Bal-Kriav's Sands of Hell desert. These disruptive creatures succeeded in separating a sizable force of workers from Storralk. These workers were the Knudmid, who, now free from their overseers and the whip, went into hiding for the remainder of the Creation War, actively avoiding both primordials and their angelic adversaries.

One of the most renowned spawns of Hon'palos was the colossal purple worm Krephus. The largest of its kind, its immense size derived from dwelling within the Sea of Entropy. Hon'palos sought to leverage Krephus's numerous offspring as war chariots and siege engines in the Morte'lumin War (6115 DE - 8066 DE). In this conflict against Storralk, Krephus's maternal instincts overcame her fear of Hon'palos. She discovered a means of escape by tunneling through a rupture in the Web of Magic, following her brood to the realm of Bal-Kriav.

When Krephus emerged from the rift, five weave spiders accompanied her, assailing a peril to The Weave. To Krephus, these adversaries must have seemed as insignificant as mosquitoes.

Driven by an unquenchable compulsion to tunnel, Krephus penetrated the depths of Zythess, burrowing deep into the subterranean strata. In her passage, she left behind the bore hole known as Krephus Sink and a surface debris field that came to be called the desert Chen'ryon.

With the decimation of Krephus's forthcoming broods, Hon'palos was vanquished by Storralk's army.

In the Abyssal Release (7777 DE - 8777 DE), Hon'palos allied with Demogorgon. Hon'palos' exceptional intelligence on Storaralk enabled the two to locate and overcome him within a month.

Hon'palos departed Demogorgon's service after the Abyssal Release. He claimed the world of Savadire as his new domain. Rumor has it that he dedicates the majority of his time to developing an alchemical remedy capable of reversing the affliction imposed by Storralk. This ongoing research and study has culminated in Hon'palos becoming a preeminent master of alchemy, crafting innovative formulas and authoring volumes now found in libraries and laboratories across the realm.
