In the month of Bloom, Year 98, Arastel departed his native world, driven by an appetite for adventure and mischief. He utilized a feywild fuse to traverse the divide between Kriav and the realm of Bal-Kriav. There, he beguiled Katha-Tril, a mortal Tragaran, resulting in the conception of a child possessing divine lineage.
When Melora was born, her half-fey nature resulted in the mother and daughter's banishment from Sorfandien. Her mother did not survive long in the wild, but the infant persevered with the aid of animals, her divine abilities, and substantial support from her father. She wandered the lands for centuries, establishing a reputation across Bal-Kriav's greater region Midrêth and in other worlds. Like her father, she possessed an uncanny knack for locating feywild fuses. During her time in Gulimbor, she was a hero of the Khazarkar Resistance, battling the oppression of the Khazarkar Empire. Her adventures consistently aligned her with the underdog, as she faced daunting odds. Outliving most around her, many came to believe that she was an avatar of a Higher Power.
Her infamy, extending across seven centuries and numerous realms, garnered a devoted following. Consequently, on 12 War March 711, she was Ascended by The Balance. Now a Higher Power, she persisted in her restless wanderings, claiming no world as her permanent abode.
Many druids who do not care for the structure of The Balance pay reverence to Melora. She is also implored by nomadic groups such as the Eärendur, the Arquar, and by numerous Tungesti. She is also worshiped in more developed regions like Celebriän and Ithengee.
