The Tradeway Wars were a series of conflicts instigated by the Chari'they Alliance. One of the alliance's objectives was disrupting the monopolies held by the Irdtrax Republic. These monopolies pertained to the transportation and security of goods along the Mind-Dûn river, as well as on two lightless seas: the Cthorgo Sea to the north and the Green Nebulous to the south.
In 1151, Duluk-Zirag, the long-standing commercial rival of Belephant-Elebros, is conquered by the Chari'they Alliance. The once-prosperous Irdtrax city now falls under the control of this powerful coalition.
In the year 1170, Belephant-Elebros was seized by Arazindam's naval forces. The city fell under the control of Arazindam's maritime power during this period.
In 1231, following a sequence of internal strife and a succession of dramatic assassinations, the Chari'they Alliance disintegrated, concluding the Tradeway Wars.
The Sanguine Whispers trace their origins back to the protracted strife that unfolded over the course of the century. This clandestine group emerged amidst the turbulent events of that era.
