Dafrlami, an island city nestled in the bay of Tarag-Khâlu, was originally constructed by the navy of Saer Erkjorg as a supply depot to facilitate exploration and investigation of the Isle of Arcana. Over the subsequent century, the settlement evolved into a prominent haven for pirates, thieves, and corrupt overlords.

Dafrlami continued to serve as a base for piracy by diverse communities throughout the Horgon Era. As the settlement expanded to incorporate a local government and a larger population of non-pirates than pirates, it gradually transitioned towards a more civilized existence. By the commencement of the First Epoch, Dafrlami had blossomed into a city-state home to a thriving populace of 25,000 individuals.

Descendants of the Thraedli, now bearing various family names, continue to reside in the city and wield significant influence.

The city boasts three prominent religious establishments: the temples of Ares, Arcana, and Poseidon. The sanctuaries of Poseidon and Arcana were founded by the eldritch giants, while the Ares temple was established by outsiders. The city's populace comprises a diverse melting pot, including Tragarans from the Lands of Purity, Turkûn hailing from the Clans, Theegans originating from the Northern Hordelands, as well as lizardfolk and goblins from the Troll Bogs, among others.
