In the year 1615 HE, with Balmoloch as its capital, the Draguron Syndicate was established by a merchant lord named Dragur Morerenne. Under Morerenne's leadership, the Syndicate maintained a predominantly commercial focus for two centuries, developing an intricate web of affiliated groups and corporations with interests in both government and industry.

In 1633 HE, driven by the need for resources to accommodate the extravagant demands of Nitthirân buyers, the Syndicate ventured into the platinum-rich hills of Esto'khar. This region had long been the territory of the Itu Esto'khar, sparking a conflict. In 1801 HE, the Esto'khar Conflict concluded, with the native population either compensated or subjugated, becoming "loyal" citizens of the empire.

In the year 166, corruption led to a coup, replacing the syndicate-styled government with a dictatorship. The new ruler was a hobgoblin general intent on expanding the empire beyond the constraints of a legal code focused on profit and loss. Instigating the Begnhidrir War, Empress Loreah pushed northward into the Ice Cap, seeking to settle old scores from the era of Esto'khar's tribes, clashing with the Goliath of Hel and others dwelling in the northern glacial tracts.

In 185, the Draguron Empire was defeated by the formidable Ice Brother's Pact, resulting in its ultimate demise. The Peace of Moth, with stringent terms, dismantled the empire, restoring the region of Esto'khar to its tribal roots, transforming the capital into a desolate ruin, and reducing Balmoloch to a vassal state under the conquerors' dominion.
