Gimir-Zarun, unlike numerous other Lith-Crillion, perceived other races as equivalent. Dissatisfied with the treatment of the workforce at Khimilêth, Gimir-Zarun led several hundred Graagvrii beyond the oppressive heat and aridity of the Sands of Hell.
The "enlightened" Graagvrii at Tubedellâm had undergone significant transformation over two generations. They could no longer thrive in the wild or relate to their more primitive kin. Their descendants now resided under the care of the Lith-Crillion, dispatched across the lands as labor forces. At the Pyramid of Life, they traveled northward to construct canals along the Drenvun. Before gazing upon this vast wetland, they perceived the shift in humidity, evoking profound emotions in many.
Gimir-Zarun, excerpt from the personal journal 'Enlightened Servitude'
In the year 740 LE, the freed people of Gimir-Zarun established the settlement of Estathess.
With a bounty on his head and exiled by his people, Gimir-Zarun ventured northward into the Nelaryotar Forest. There, he encountered a marauding band of eldritch giants, persuading them to abandon their ill-fated attack on Khimilêth. Gimir-Zarun and the eldritch giants forged a close friendship, pooling their resources in arcane research, constructing an enormous edifice called the Belêth-Kazîr, and creating the first blutium golem.
Gimir-Zarun and the "Reverse-Engineering"
Gimir-Zarun and his eldritch giant allies didn't "invent" the golem so much as they cracked its Lost Age source code.
- The Belêth-Kazîr Prototype: At their tower in Belêth-Kazîr, they studied the captured entity to understand how to bind current-age arcane energy to the blutium alloy's magnetic memory.
- The Cost of Forging: Because blutium is "challenging-to-forge" irradiated scrap, Gimir-Zarun had to use the extreme arcane focus of Nelaryotar to soften the alloy's molecular bonds.
- Automated Regeneration: The golems in Nelaryotar today still exhibit "regeneration" because the Lost Age tech inside them is constantly scanning for nearby scrap to "reinstall" their chassis whenever they are destroyed.
Gimir-Zarun had lived for over a millennium when he finally passed away. Presently, Belêth-Kazîr stands as a renowned center of esoteric knowledge, rivaling the stature of esteemed institutions such as Belras Foroderch and the renowned Magis Institute.
