Long before humanity and creatures, a deity was born in this domain. He was bestowed life with the primal energies of Chaos, his physique crafted from earth, stone, iron, silver, and other minerals. When Geb was brought into existence, the ground was rent asunder, giving rise to Gindinâth, Izen'nâth, and the Kernsking Koils.

Thraedli Legend, "Creation of Geb"

The Kernsking Coils are vines of varying dimensions, with some as robust as a tower. They emanate a faint, multicolored green aura. The vines pulsate with increasing intensity as dawn approaches. According to legend, the coils are the remnants of the entity that breathed life into Geb.

The Kernsking Koils derive their name from the Kernsking mountains, of which they were once a part, prior to the birth of the deity Geb. Additionally, the koil vine, a significant feature of the region, has also contributed to the naming of these remarkable formations. Due to the profound significance of this site, stemming from Geb's birth, the deep gnomes of Mulun-Dûna and other devotees of Geb consider the Kernsking Koils a hallowed place of pilgrimage.

The Kernsking Coils resemble a verdant forest, densely populated with foliage and trailing vines. These coils extend downward from the underside of Gindinâth, stretching all the way into the summits of the lower Kernsking mountains.

The giants of Gindinâth have long utilized the Kernsking Koils as a means to descend from their cloud domain. Once on the surface, they plundered the surrounding lands, subjugating others under their dominion. Following decades of casualties and fatalities from falls, including the tragic loss of one of their kings, the raiders determined to construct a road along the largest koil. This vine-woven thoroughfare is known as the Hloding. It is meticulously maintained by a guild of cloud giants headquartered in Griddrir.

Interspersed throughout this forest of vines are thousands of earth motes. Some of these floating landmasses are sizeable, housing keeps and the lairs of airborne creatures. During the Lith-Crillion Era, prior to the establishment of Griddrir, a chaos roc nested within the Merdatar earth mote. The beast's mayhem was such that it was eventually driven off by the giants of Fjorunn-Irnskar. This party of storm and cloud giants lost thirty of their number battling the Harbinger of Chaos. This chaos roc, purportedly the first of its kind, was forced to flee and is believed to have succumbed to its injuries, or so the ancient giant folklore maintains.

The Kernsking Koils interconnect all the earth motes of the region. No one has ever attempted to detach one from the intricate web of its koils. To do so would be a sacrilege to the followers of Geb. One of the earth motes in the area houses a temple dedicated to Geb. This place is known as Fûshmênd. The diverse group of Geb's devotees in this location safeguard the sanctity of the area and ensure that no one dares to sever an earth mote from the koils.

Aye, long before these skyships, the formidable giants of Gurnskolf utilized this lush expanse of vines as a route of conquest. Down these vine-laced thoroughfares, they marched toward the lands below! They exacted their tribute, raiding and despoiling the lowlanders as their prerogative, as beings superior by design. They crafted us giants to lead the feebler ones and shield them. At its zenith, Aslauthroa governed all that the Khazarkar Empire commands today, and even more, descending beneath the surface into the dark realms of Faeglor! Now we are left with only Gurnskolf and the Titan Empires, reduced to fragments in ancient tomes.
