The Golden Seven were an elite cadre of heroes who united during the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) . Staunch supporters of Creation and generally righteous actions, the seven angelic champions of this group were Ares, Athena (the founder of the ensemble), Naraz-Nâru, Ditherra, Iphæyûs, Phalgas, and Rôghar.

The Golden Seven frequently embarked on perilous missions, such as the eradication of formidable chaos aberrations and other colossal primordials, as well as the subjugation of primordials themselves. On 5 Bloom 6744 DE, they succeeded in closing the Henmona Rift.

In the year 7791 DE, they located a soul-devouring primordial entity known as Maen Grirngrim. During the subsequent confrontation, Ditherra, Iphæyûs, and Rôghar perished, their souls forcibly extracted from their physical forms and devoured. The remaining combatants vanquished the primordial, immolating its body in sacred flames.

While on Bal-Kriav, the Golden Seven constructed an immense citadel named Aphalur. This location served as an armory, training grounds, and eventually a medical facility for those injured in the battles of Regadnîn. The Golden Seven also aided in building formidable fortifications to safeguard against the primordial incursion. The most substantial of these is a network of towers, walls, and defenses known as the Bulwark of Târulûth.

The Bulwark of Târulûth is a collection of towers and fortifications constructed by the deities and their angelic legions. They were designed to impede the primordial hordes from escaping Regadnîn.

Many of these defenses were engineered by Naraz-Nâru. At the time, this entity was a powerful angel, a member of the Golden Seven, and serving Bal-Kriav.

The defenders of this as yet unnamed world (now known as Bal-Kriav ) constructed formidable strongholds to combat the frequently colossal size and immense power of the primordials and their legions.

The strongholds of the Bulwark include Aphalur, Irrai, and Nâzel. One such site, Dališar, was not constructed but rather "re-tooled." This structure resembles a volcano in appearance and function, but it is, in reality, an imprisoned and lobotomized primordial entity.
