The Runes of Aphalur are inscriptions along the immense battlements of Aphalur. In the Supernal language, largely authored by archangels and deific entities, they chronicle the history of the Dawn Era and the God Era.
In the distant past, reproducing the parapet's writing was strictly prohibited, with Akthol-Tharag considering it a grave offense. The historical data that was meticulously documented and compiled are known as the Scrolls of Dawn. Presently, with much of this information having been disseminated, the hundreds of Plaques of Aphalur have become more of a tourist attraction rather than a repository for those seeking lost knowledge.
