Sig Mak Gan is not a singular entity, but rather an occurrence triggered by the convergence of three artifacts. The three artifacts integral to this phenomenon are the Scion Stump of Lukoon, the Shield of Thular-Tûr, and the Matter Penetrator.

When Naraz-Nâru was but an angel serving under the Covenant war-master Bal-Kriav, he crafted three artifacts to destroy the Entropy Arch at Piranoth Cyst. These items were forged in a mighty cauldron within the belly of the primordial Dališar. Naraz-Nâru created a gauntlet, a shield, and a pick-axe. Together, they were known as Sig Mak Gan, which translates from old dwarven script to "three forces stability." After Naraz-Nâru destroyed the Entropy Arch at Piranoth Cyst, he bestowed each of his artifacts upon a separate Archangel.

The victorious angels sought a means to shatter the arch and seal this gateway to the Void of Chaos. Mighty magic, divine incantations, and physical assaults proved ineffective against it. Consequently, I crafted three sacred relics. When united, they should possess the power to annihilate the primordial device. The Sig Mak Gan is our sole recourse in vanquishing this Entropy Arch.

With shield, gauntlet, and pickaxe in hand, I delivered a dozen blows upon it. The entity succumbed to Sig Mak Gan, cleansing the world that Bal-Kriav had so courageously perished for.

To safeguard these valuable items, each will be entrusted to the security of an Archangel.

Over the course of millennia, these objects underwent subtle transformations to conceal them from potential seekers. An angel named Lukoon was entrusted with the gauntlet. When Lukoon later ascended to divinity, he concluded that the optimal hiding place for the artifact was within the corporeal form of one of his offspring. After Lukoon severed his son's hand, the item thereafter became known as the Scion Stump of Lukoon.

The shield was bestowed upon an angel named Atlas. During the Conclave War, the shield was plundered and came into the possession of a Khazarkar from the Urkuzîr family. It has remained in the Urkuzîrs' custody for nearly a millennium. While the shield was undergoing re-enchantment, the deity Atlas replaced the original with an exact duplicate. This replica is the shield forged by Naraz-Nâru. Though now an artifact, it continues to bear the name Shield of Thular-Tûr.

The pick-axe was the ward of Arcana. This item, the most potent of the group, had been kept concealed for millennia. During the Volgad's struggles with the fire giants of Borngring, the ruler entrusted the weapon to a legate of the Šukhan Legion. The legate's name was Amrî Khêru. He and a group of Šukhan wizards utilized the pick-axe to carve a piece from the Cube of Arcane. Their objective was to employ this fragment of the Cube to halt the advance of lava rivers flowing into Volgad territory. Khêru dubbed the item "Umân Yônul", which translates to the words Matter Penetrator.

The capabilities of the three items when united have not been observed since the Dawn Era - thus, the powers of Sig Mak Gan remain obscure.
