Gradorians are half-devils, the offspring born of a Devil's union with a humanoid of the Mortal Systems.
The origins of Gradorian civilization are largely attributed to the Piamauza. Driven by desires of "world engineering" and dreams of Ascension, agents of Asmodeus lured the Piamauza through an inter-system rift to their master's home world of Nessus. On Nessus, the Piamauza, a tribe of 221 Tragarans, were treated well, educated, and placed in conditions that encouraged intermingling with the Devil population. Five centuries later, 3,000 descendants of the Piamauza, all half-devils, were sent back to the world of their mortal ancestors. After passing through the Onk'ar Decath, they established the settlement of Kathodrarg.
The Gradorian civilization on Bal-Kraiv reached its zenith under the auspices of the Mir'piamauza Empire, which flourished from 526 HE to 1612 HE. However, the collapse of this imperial power led to the fragmentation and dispersal of its populace across a broad expanse.
