On the 9th of Bloom in 776 DE, an Arch-Creationist named Bruh Kreniik crafted the inaugural elven race. He designated them Kriavfahliil, a term from the Draconic lexicon denoting a Kriav Elf; an elf hailing from the realm of Kriav.
The initial Kriavfahliil was named Corellon. Bruh Kreniik crafted more beings similar to him, rapidly expanding the population and granting them a fighting chance in the great conflicts he anticipated would arise alongside these Works of Creation.
In the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , and its subsequent conflict, the Demon Spawn War ( 89 GE - 269 GE ) , the Kriavfahliil were summoned to action, assisting the Covenants of both wars against the primordial and demonic hordes determined to ravage all they had constructed.
Many inhabitants of Bal-Kriav trace their ancestry to either the Gwildath Monarchy or the Marchenir Republic. Both these nations of the world Kriav have dispatched colonists to Bal-Kriav for millennia. Those with bloodlines to Gwildath are found in the lands of the Ithengee Monarchy and the Khazarkar Empire, with most being descendants of the Gilraen Oligarchy.
The Kriavfahliil with ancestral ties to the Marchenir Republic can be found in Lambaril and other lesser-known regions.
The Cube Collapse gave rise to the Kriavfahliil, endowing them with a remarkable natural ability known as Rift Hop. This capability evolves gradually, with a 2% likelihood of manifestation for each year of their existence.
The Kriavfahliil's skin coloration spectrum extends from a delicate pale white to a soft, light gray.
