The content for this website has been gradually assembled over the course of three decades spent immersed in Dungeons and Dragons. Certain elements featured on the site were derived from the roleplaying campaigns I facilitated as a Dungeon Master and the participants involved.
The genesis of Bal-Kriav commenced with a cohort of players known as the League of Ten. At the time, they resided within the World of Greyhawk. After traversing through a mystical device (a rift), they arrived in the city of Paradomea and subsequently made their way to the Black Forge keep. It was from this juncture that they began utilizing Bal-Kriav as the campaign setting. Other parties that followed included Black Banner, Squad X7E, Golden Elite, Crimson Eye, and Trauma Squad.
Artwork
Sometimes, I craft a narrative around the image or utilize it as an estimate of the appearance of something. Numerous images on this website originate from various online sources. If you discover one being used inappropriately, please notify me via email, and I will promptly remove it.
Languages
I utilize a variety of language generators, primarily to imbue regions and notions with a distinct character, linking them to a race that first inhabited the area, constructed it, or wielded substantial influence.
