The Flux Pact commenced with an alliance between Neeth-Theen and Icyke. During this period, Ushgergoon presided over Neeth-Theen. This individual, in turn, received directives from the primordial lord Drachmon. Both parties harbored a fervent desire to propagate chaos throughout the realm, perhaps even ushering in their own Creation War.
The merchant-led cartel at the helm of Icyke joined the coalition due to a desire to retaliate against the Khazarkar Empire for previous transgressions. These encompassed pillaging their settlements via Khazarkar-backed pirates and harassing their vessels in international waters.
As the Cinazan Front advanced, the Flux Pact steadily increased in size. These new recruits were individuals who had previously clashed with the Khazarkar Empire or sought to claim a portion of the war's spoils.
Some may question whether chaos is an ideology or an inherent natural state of existence. It is akin to animal instinct - it simply exists, and chaos is ever-present in the monstrosities of the Horde of Chaos.

In the year 1829, with the freezing of Nautrek and the breach in the Elemantum Boundary Ward, the Cinderfall Brucrumus Expeditionary Force under Field Marshal Sorenass traversed the frozen Nautrek, a temporary land-bridge that formed between Elemantum and Brucrumus.
The CBEF, needing supplies and shelter in a chaos-wracked land, advanced against the first civilization they encountered. They initiated a siege of the Neeth-Theen capital. However, the siege was subsequently abandoned when they were persuaded to join the Flux Pact.
The freezing of Nautrek and the breach in the Elemantum Boundary Ward were precipitated by the transit of the Chaos Maelstrom. It is no mere coincidence that the Chaos Maelstrom happened to traverse this region, freezing a vast expanse of ocean, shattering a formidable arcane ward, and all at the outset of the Chaos War.

In the year 1830, skilled CBEF priests of Surtur, through a remarkable display of diplomatic prowess, facilitated the unification of two Hlimi Kingdoms. Typically adversaries, the kingdoms of Thjollod and Xornsnous temporarily set aside their differences, becoming signatories to the Flux Pact.
