Map Narbuzad

In the dawn of time, this region was known as Maziggandîm. During the First Epoch, it became more commonly referred to as simply Clans, courtesy of Tragaran traders who found its Dwarven name difficult to pronounce. A central southwestern territory of Brucrumus, it is bounded to the south by the towering spires of Khizunul, to the north and east by elven woodlands, and to the west by the undulating waves of Nielalroch.

The mountains are Naraz-Nâru's formidable shoulders, the forests his expansive armpits, and the swamps the perspiration and saliva from his ceaseless labors.

The Clans, long recognized as dwarven territories, were first settled by former soldiers of the Mîmêk Army and the civilian populations that supported it. In the First Epoch, these Mîmêk ruins were discovered by new dwarven settlers.

Today, the region hosts four dwarven sovereign states. The populaces of these nations trace their ancestral lineage to the illustrious kingdom of Phlehorn and the oligarchic rule of Malad-Mîn.

The vaults contain hundreds of ores that have been withheld from the market If these resources were released, the metal market would face a catastrophic collapse For those who remain unconvinced, a visit to the agricultural communities of Mîn-Mazan would be most illuminating, as their plows are crafted from the precious mithril, rather than the more common iron

The subterranean domain beneath the Clans is referred to as Unaraggumak.
